My name is Andrea Mortini, I'm 36 years old and a father of two wonderful two-and-a-half-year-old twins. Fatherhood has taught me to observe better, to be patient, to catch details that used to go unnoticed. And this has changed the way I photograph too.
I've been a photographer for 13 years.
It has never been just a job.
I love art and cinema. From cinema I draw inspiration for light, atmosphere, and that way of storytelling that goes beyond a single image and becomes narrative. I'm interested in the story, not posing for its own sake.
It all started with reportage. That's where I learned to observe without interfering, to seek truth in spontaneous gestures. At the same time, I'm drawn to the editorial style, clean and elegant. Over time, I've merged these two souls: authenticity and aesthetic care.
No staging. No masks.
I'm an empathetic person. I tiptoe into your days but put my heart and soul into them. Every year I work to grow, study, and raise my quality standards. First of all, out of respect for myself. Then out of respect for those who choose me.
Entrusting me with your story is an act of trust.
And for me, it's never something I take for granted.
